Your Path to Wellness: Quick Answers to Common Questions
Our style of holistic work is unique because we blend Western education with indigenous wisdom and knowledge. That diversity creates coherence and connection. When we work with someone, we can see where they’re stuck or where they want to grow, and help them navigate where to start and what direction to take. Whether they fully understand it at first or not doesn’t matter—the point is they leave with a clearer map of themselves and the next
step forward.
Physically, yes—you’ll see me using massage techniques. But it’s far deeper than that. My bodywork is informed by lived experience, intuition, and rongomatau ways of understanding. I don’t just release muscles—I listen to what your body is really saying and work from a holistic perspective that goes beyond the clinical or Western-only approach. That’s why people walk away feeling not just relaxed, but reset on multiple levels..
They treat it as one-dimensional. Too many practitioners stay locked into a narrow lens of education or technique. For us, real skill comes from passion, trial and error, and constantly expanding your understanding of humans in all their layers—physical, emotional, mental, spiritual. Without that, you only scratch the surface. Our work comes from years of practice, mistakes, learning, and passion. That’s why it carries depth.
I have a starting structure, but from there, I tune into what’s needed. Through rongomatau methods, I feel into the body’s energetics, the emotional layers, and what’s alive in that moment. Often it points directly to the emotional space, though it can also surface physical or mental patterns. Each touch gives me information that guides where to go next.
I feel it out. Sometimes it’s clear the body needs more physical release, other times it’s about guiding the person to recognise what’s going on emotionally or energetically. Clients often ask what I think, but I always let them choose whether to return. My role is to offer, not force.
Relief. Lightness. A sense of peace. Physically, the tension lifts. Emotionally, there’s a release that often leaves people feeling clearer or even sleepy. It’s that exhale moment when your body and mind finally let go.
